The accessible arts CIC story (Our Mission)

Our Team
Will Langley - Founder/Director/Lead Facilitator

Will is a professional actor with an extensive CV of both film & stage work and over fifteen years experience in drama facilitation and SEND education. He is passionate about inclusive learning and ensuring that creative opportunities are accessible to all young people, irrespective of their background or personal circumstances. His experience in drama facilitation and SEND education has allowed him to witness firsthand how powerful creative arts and expression can be to enhance the lives of not only children from mainstream settings, but also those children with SEND. Will founded Accessible Arts CIC because he believes there is an accessibility gap between young people (mainstream & SEND) and the creative arts, and he believes that change is necessary. Will’s acting CV is available here: https://app.spotlight.com/7014-5611-2824. Will’s IMDb page can be viewed here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10104093/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1.
Luke Corbett - Founder/Director/Lead Facilitator

Luke is a talented multi-instrumentalist professional musician who has been captivating audiences on the UK circuit for over 22 years. A dedicated music facilitator in primary schools across West London, he is passionate about inspiring young musicians. After years of balancing his love for music with a part-time gig, Luke took the leap to pursue his dream of being a full-time musician just a year ago. Co-founding Accessible Arts is a significant milestone for him, reflecting his commitment to nurturing the next generation of creative talent. Luke’s background in the creative arts began in his early youth, where he was once a member of the Beck Youth Theatre. Luke is a strong believer in accessibility for all in the arts, and his experience working with children with SEND puts him in a strong position to ensure that we, as a company, are able to impact as many young people as possible through creative engagement.

Welcome to Accessible Arts, a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to dismantling barriers in creative education. Our mission is built on the belief that every young person, regardless of their background or circumstance, deserves high-quality access to the transformative power of the performing and creative arts.

We understand that traditional arts education can be costly, time-consuming, or geographically out of reach for many families. That's why we exist: to bridge that gap.

Accessible Arts CIC was founded on the belief that creativity should never be a luxury. The idea for Accessible Arts was born out of a stark realisation: the transformative power of acting, music, and writing — skills that build confidence, emotional literacy, and teamwork — was becoming increasingly inaccessible. Many passionate, talented young people were being excluded because of high tuition fees, lack of local classes, or demanding schedules that often conflict with family commitments.

Our founders saw a crucial gap between high-quality arts training and the families who needed it most. We decided to build a "creative bridge" using two key approaches:

Our Mission and Approach
At the core of Accessible Arts is "access." We achieve this through:

1. School workshops: Our affordable, comprehensive creative arts workshops for children aged 5–17. Our workshops offer foundational training in Acting, Music, Songwriting, and Spoken Word, delivered across (both mainstream & SEND) primary/secondary schools and youth clubs across the borough of Ealing and surrounding West London areas.

2. Community Impact Projects: We run targeted, grant-funded in-person residencies and workshops that focus on reaching young people who face specific social or economic barriers, ensuring they benefit from specialised artistic mentorship and peer collaboration.

By focusing on a blend of accessibility and focused community outreach, we help young people develop far more than just artistic technique. Our students gain essential life skills in confidence, teamwork, critical thinking, and powerful self-expression.

Join us in making the arts a universal right, not a privilege.
